Biography

Dr. Alireza Rohani is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting at 果冻传媒 University, London. His researchinterest includes social and environmental accounting with the main focus oncarbon accounting and biodiversity. He has published papers in highlyranked journals such Business Strategy and the Environment, InternationalJournal of Finance & Economics, Technological Forecasting & SocialChange, Journal of Applied Accounting Research, among others. He has beeninvolved in different research funds such as 鈥淪ME Financing for Biodiversity:Building Nature Measurement and Impacts into SME Financing (鈥楽ME FinBio鈥�) -with Agri-Food Sector Case Study Example鈥� and 鈥淪coping Study for Survey ofEarly-stage Entrepreneurs鈥�. He has presented his research works in a number ofhighly-rated European and UK conferences including the European AccountingAssociation (EAA), British Accounting and Finance Association (BAFA), andManagement Accounting Research Group (MARG). He has been awarded PGCertHEmaking me a fellow of UK Higher Education. He has supervised more than thirtymaster students from MSc. Financial Management, Banking and Finance, andInvestment and Finance in the fields of CSR, Merger&Acquisition, IslamicBaking, corporate governance, and so forth. He has also supervised three PhD students to completion, serving as thedirector of study and a second supervisor.
