Biography

As anAssociate Professor of Early Childhood and researcher in Early Years (EY)provision, I have published extensively on pedagogy and policy. My research isframed by a focus on leadership in EY and the contribution it makes to qualitylearning environments and interactions, particularly for babies under the ageof 2 years. I have led a range of funded research projects, and am currentlyresearching quality provision in the baby room of English nurseries (). Alongside research, I love teaching and currently lead modulesabout play, creativity and post-developmental theory on the programmes BA EarlyChildhood Studies and MA Childhood and Education in Diverse Societies.聽
