Biography
Louise has worked internationally as an聽 award-winning Illustrator/Educator for 25+ years.聽 Experienced working for a wide variety of聽 commercial clients across publishing/design /advertising/editorial sectors and聽 community/outreach groups and prestigious聽 Universities. Working within different disciplines聽 allows each to inform and enrich the other.聽 Recent work 鈥淓xpectations of the Past鈥� (ACE)聽 enabled her to move from a commercial聽 background to one more authorial.Exhibitions聽 were well received with much exposure press/TV /online. Louise presented a paper about this project at the 7th International Illustration Symposium聽 Edinburgh. Louise enjoys working with hard-to-reach聽 groups/individuals facing challenges who聽 wouldn鈥檛 normally engage in workshops and visit galleries. Recently聽 selected for Foundation Programme For Future London residency developing participatory聽 workshops around sustainable/creative outdoor聽 practice for audiences in urban spaces聽聽associated withcreative need. Regularly work聽聽collaboratively/across disciplines ona wide聽聽range of briefs and for those with diverse needs.聽
