Biography

I have an undergraduate law degree and an MA in Industrial Relations. I have been a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development since 1972.聽

In addition to writing textbooks on Employment Law, I have been researching the subject of employment protection for whistleblowers since1994 and have published internationally in law, business ethics, informationtechnology and human resource management journals. I have聽 considerableexperience as a consultant for the European Commission, Council of Europe, OECDand UN Office on Drugs and Crime. I have given expert evidence (inter alia) to theBudgetary Control Committee of the European Parliament and the UK Committee onStandards in Public Life.聽
